Nylacast Automotive now possesses a state-of-the-art gear durability test rig designed and developed with one of the world's leading automotive test equipment Manufacturers. The introduction of this test rig marks a significant step forward in R&D for Nylacast Automotive by enabling the company to accelerate the development process of new EPS and Braking worm gear technologies and to shorten the time-to-market. This Durability Test Rig (DTR) gives Nylacast Automotive the ability to conduct rigorous performance and durability tests on EPS and Braking gearboxes, which are critical to verifying product reliability and long-term performance. This not only helps Nylacast optimize the design of its products in collaboration with Customers, but also provides Customers with higher quality and more reliable gearbox solutions.

Recently, Nylacast Automotive made significant achievements in practicing its commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), showcasing its strong dedication to corporate social responsibility through two important events. In collaboration with Changshu Binjiang Vocational and Technical School, Nylacast Automotive organised a "Dream-Come-True Scholarship" disbursement ceremony to provide financial aid to students facing economic difficulties, while also enhancing school-enterprise cooperation to promote graduate employment. Moreover, the company also organised a Nylacast Children's Day to strengthen the bond between employee families and the company. Through a series of educational and entertaining activities, the event showcased the diversity of cultures to the children and instilled in them an awareness of environmental protection.

Following a significant investment, Nylacast Automotive, a global producer of safety-critical, high-precision polymer components for the automotive industry, has officially opened its second plant in Changshu. This comes after the successful establishment and operation of its first plant in the region. The launch of this new plant marks the expansion of Nylacast Automotive in the Asian market and demonstrates Nylacast Automotive's proactive response to automotive industry trends and insight into customer needs. In June 2024, Nylacast Automotive welcomed a group of Senior Engineering Managers from “IEM by TOYOTA”, an automotive manufacturer. They were invited to tour our facility, as part of an event aimed at deepening the understanding of the manufacturing process of EPS worm gears at Nylacast Automotive, showcasing production capabilities and technological advantages, and further strengthening the cooperative relationship between both parties.

In the realm of automotive innovation, the quest for safer, more efficient steering systems for improved driver ‘feel’ drives relentless research and collaboration. Dr. Tom Hardy, Senior Applications Engineer at Nylacast Automotive, and Pascal Tuszewski, Project Manager Mechanics at ThyssenKrupp, recently delivered their joint efforts in a technical paper presented at the prestigious Next Generation Steering Systems Summit held from 23 – 24 April in Detroit, USA. The focus of this research was titled: “Optimising gear manufacturing to enhance Torque to Rotate (TTR) performance in Electric Power Steering (EPS) applications”.

On January 25, 2024, With the warm opening speech, the 2024 Nylacast Automotilve Annual celebration was officially kicked off. Amidst the warm applause, we welcomed the executives from the Group Headquarter, including Mr. Mussa Mahomed, Executive Chairman of Nylacast, Mr. Simon Harvey, CEO of Nylacast Automotive and many other honored guests.
