Warm reception and joint development at the Nylacast Automotive Plant

A visit from “IEM by TOYOTA” Senior Engineering Managers to the Nylacast Automotive Plant

In June 2024, Nylacast Automotive welcomed a group of Senior Engineering Managers from “IEM by TOYOTA”, an automotive manufacturer. They were invited to tour our facility, as part of an event aimed at deepening the understanding of the manufacturing process of EPS worm gears at Nylacast Automotive, showcasing production capabilities and technological advantages, and further strengthening the cooperative relationship between both parties.

 

CEO and Operations Director of Nylacast Automotive, extended a warm welcome to the Senior Engineering Managers of “IEM by TOYOTA”. Our Customer Development Manager thoroughly introduced a comprehensive overview of the company to the visitors, including its market development strategy, core product advantages, and the R&D efforts made to adapt to the evolving trends in the automotive industry.

 

Subsequently, the visitors were taken to the product showcase center, where samples of our EPS worm gears and innovative technologies were displayed. Through the detailed explanations provided by our Technical Manager, the visitors gained a more intuitive understanding of our unique casting process that produces high polymers with higher molecular weight, improved wear resistance, less wear rates, enhanced durability, and superior NVH performance.

 

The tour proceeded to the production workshop, quality inspection department, and R&D center. In the production workshop, visitors observed production lines and workflow, which highlighted our production capacity and management level. In the quality inspection department, our quality control system was presented to the visitors, enhancing confidence in the stability and reliability of our products. Finally, in the R&D center, Our Global R&D Manager discussed how we continuously innovate technologically to keep pace with the automotive industry trends, such as adapting to compact spaces, meeting higher demands for torque and durability, enhancing NVH performance, and designing lightweight worm gears to maintain our leading position in the industry.

 

In a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions about future cooperation opportunities and issues of mutual concern. This visit not only enhanced their understanding of our company but also strengthened their confidence in collaborating with us.
