Nylacasts UK facility is located in Leicester.
Centrally located in the UK for excellent transport links, the state of the art facility has a full manufacturing capability of over 10 million parts / annum, this includes:
- Cast Polymer material production ~ for Wormwheel tyres
- Advanced special machining facility producing steel hubs at un-paralleled speeds
- Nylacast designed fully automated Hub / Ring Assembly lines
- Full Machining cell to finish the wormwheel including:
- Very close tolerance hub bores
- Finish Gear-cutting to Din 8 or better
- Automated gear de-burring
- In-line product inspection
- Now re-located to much larger modern premises with a view to future planned volume increases
- Low Volume / Sample parts production cell ~ for fast prototype development

The Nylacast China facility has full capability to fully finish, inspect and despatch Wormwheels for the Asia Pacific Market
Full on-site machining capabilities include:-
- Fully Automatic machining cells including poka yoke, quality monitoring and traceability marking
- Auto Transfer of parts to bore finishing to very fine tolerance limits
- Gear-cutting cells capable of DIN 8 quality or better Worm-Wheels
- Fully Automatic gear de-burring
- Fully Automated in line quality inspection system for certain key characteristics
- Dedicated logistics area with easy access for articulated vehicles
